Have any canceled 2022 Hybrid VINs taken delivery of their 2023 yet?

If so, what financing offers were available?
I'm picking up today and will let you know. I have loan approval from Chase bank at 6.4 and Spectrum CU at 4.99% over 60 months. My credit is about 800 with decent debt to income ratios. We'll see what Ford Credit and the financing team drums up, but I doubt they beat the 5% offer at the credit union. Sucks that we all lost the intro financing from Oct/Nov. 2021.

BTW, for timeline purposes - mine was "building" starting 1/6, "Built" 1/12, "shipped" 1/13. I lost track of it in Nogales, AZ, but it delivered yesterday evening to SLC, Utah.

I'm really hoping it is better than that. As of late October Ford was offering 1.9% for 36 months on Mavericks. I would assume/hope that financing options are locked as of the 2023 order date, which I think would be 11/14/22 for the cancelled VINs (though an argument could be made that it should be locked to 9/15/22). I'm not sure how much rates changed between October and November. The trend would definitely be up, but hopefully not that much.

The only good thing about the long delay (474 days thus far) in getting my vehicle is that I have been stashing away money that would have gone for a car loan. With what I have saved plus trade in for current vehicle means I will be paying cash. No outgoing interest to financial institution, only savings interest for me. :) I'm just waiting for my vehicle to be shipped now. Who knows how long that will take?????

It is not better than that. Financing options were not locked for me and I ended up with a 5.99 APR. (significant down, 60 months, 835 credit score).

Too bad. I guess it’s because the 2022 Maverick had promotional rates, but 2023s do not. My truck will be here sometime in the next 2 weeks so I will see what my dealer says.

yeah, not great. I rotated between hounding my rep and the ford chat every week. But I frequently knew much more than the sales rep (thanks to MTC and Tim Bartz), so any communication I had with the dealer was telling them what was going on.

to be fair to Performance, they honored the original order. Even when they added a bogus $500 “paint protection” charge and I called them on their shit, the finance guy worked with me to add a maintenance package of greater value to offset the unexpected cost.

overall, I’m not going to bat for them or writing 5 star reviews anywhere, but they weren’t bad to work with and I don’t have horror stories to share like many others on MTC.

I got mine and am super happy about it. I talked them down to 5.74% from 5.99% be sure to ask to see the buy sheet in finance.

Finally picked mine up on 17 Feb 23. Have about 800 miles on it. Love the Lil' Blue Unicorn.
