So, last week I got a FORD email indicating that my MY23 order was scheduled for week of February 6th and I got a VIN #. Today I chatted with FORD marketing and was told that production will start on February 8th with an ETA to the dealer around March 11th.

My question is this: Once you have a BUILD DAY is the potential for the date being pushed out low? I've had build week delays multiple times since last fall when my order was a MY22 before the cancellation/re-order took place, but I've never had a BUILD DAY before. Hoping I am actually going to get this thing after a 14+ month wait.

Yes, that has been my experience for the orders I have tracked. Orders are frequently moved when you have a build week, but once there is a build day, that is (almost) set in stone.

I wouldn't rely on the ETA of March 11th. If the build is completed on time, and shipped right away w/ no delays, that sounds right. But sometimes production is extended (like waiting for chips). And they can sit for a while waiting for shipping....

But, the great news is that you have a build date! You have cause for optimism!

Yes, I'd say you are getting close! Once you get the official "In Production" status, things start getting real!
