I had them go ahead and fix the first recall for engine fires. All they did was drill 4 holes in my under engine shield to vent any fumes building up and causing an engine fire.

Had my recall #1 done yesterday also. Kinda cheesy the way they removed the lower row of louvers in the grill. (They also did the software update for the Hybrid brakes)
They were supposed also do the software update for the hybrid rough idle, but said they had to see the engine run rough first...Again, kinda cheesy.

Naa... They won't do that. Bottle supply chain crunch or something. You will get Ford Pass Points though.

Skipping recall #1. Not heard of any Maverick engine fires in all this time. Not worth them mangling everything up.

I missed that thread. I was also using a bit of dry humor. Had no idea that the Yeti bottle premium was offered as an inconvenience pacifier.

What did you think there were going to do?
The repair procedure for this recall is simply: "Remove Four AGS Blinds and Drill Holes in the Engine Front Undershield"
