Exhaust material - stainless or galvanized steel?

Ok all, while we try to patiently wait for our 2023 Maverick I'm hoping you can help me settle a bet.... What is the exhaust material on the Maverick? Is it stainless (likely low quality but still stainless) or is it galvanized mild steel?

From that video it looks too be the lowest quality steel I have ever seen in a recent car. My exhaust on my 2 year old car looks better that that and I am in western NY with salted roads.

Awesome video, interesting the muffler back section appears to be distinctly different then the rest of the exhaust. Either way glad I don't love on salty upstate NY anymore I'm sure that will be rough on that exhaust!

The exhaust is a ticking time bomb. It's designed to last exactly the length of your warranty and not a day/mile more.

since Fords emissions warranty is 8yrs/ 80K miles I guess we're talking cat back. by the time the stock pipes are toast I'll be ready for that in any case.

Back in the 1950s I was a mechanic you did not get but a year of use with a exhaust system!

Realizing that moisture inside the exhaust absolutely will deteriorate the exhaust, I still cleaned all the welds and seams in the exhaust system and brush painted Eastwood exhaust coating on just prior to coating the bottom of my truck with rust inhibitor. I try to avoid short trips so as to burn as much condensate away as possible. Time will tell.

wasn't that when walker exhaust and NAPA came along for us and saved our bacon and blue streak was the lords of ignition parts
