Hi All! I decided to place an order today for a Hybrid Lariat with the Lux package and join you all in your agonizing anticipation for your builds. I'm actually still waiting on the dealer to send me back my signed order acknowledgement right now...

I however received very unsettling (and hopefully incorrect) news from my dealer that they are not anticipating deliveries on any hybrid orders for a year and a half. Yes, that was not misspoken as I asked multiple times, but he said a year and a half. When I asked if this was just for dealer inventory or customer orders, he only said that Ford is prioritizing the online orders, but they were simply told to not anticipate hybrids for 1.5 years... I really can't see how that's true...

Just submitted my addition to the spreadsheet. I got my order confirmation on 6/12, and today I received my scheduled build date of 11/8 XL Hybrid in velocity blue with co-pilot 360 and sliding rear window.

My Build is:

2022 Maverick XLT Hybrid in Velocity Blue with
Ford Co-Pilot360
Manual Rear Sliding Window
110/400W Outlet in the Cab Rear

I ordered from Autonation Ford Frisco in TX on 8/23 and modified my order twice to remove "late availability" and constrained items and doing so I believe that pushed me forward to get considered and then assigned a build date. Only 25 days from order to assigned build notification.

The items I removed are available in the aftermarket or from Ford parts.

These include:

Front and Rear Splash Guards,
All Weather floor liners tray style,
Bed mat

I'm very skeptical of the info your dealer is telling you. I've not heard 1.5 year hybrid wait from anyone. Tim Bartz from Long McArthur Ford never mentioned this in his podcasts, and he's very knowledgeable.


Sadly, some of the sales folks at Ford are clueless.
