I'm going to add this package to my bare bones hybrid XL. Perhaps there is a chance it will increase my chances of getting built.? Probably not.

Hoping the Mud Flaps get unconstrained. Awful muddy here in the spring....

Like many with hybrid orders, I'm trying to decide if I want to switch to the 2.0. With my Lariat, that switch also adds AWD at a cost of $2,200. I originally convinced myself I really didn't need AWD and wanted the fuel savings with the hybrid. I expect gas prices to go up in the future and am leaning toward keeping my hybrid order. The other side is that I need a truck this year so it's hard to decide how much of a gambler I want to be. My dealer has allocations but doesn't know my position in the allocation order. I wonder if waiting until January or February to see if I get lucky before switching to the 2.0 would also kill my chances to get a Maverick at all. Oh, the great unknown!!!

I just added the rail system with cleats and the black out package to my 23 maverick xlt fx4 w/bedliner and kept my production date of jan 23, lets go!
Good to hear, I just emailed my sales person to add the rail system (I already have the SIBL). I’m also scheduled for 1/23.

Very happy to receive that $225 CMS (61D) for free, but I am scratching my head wondering what Ford's motivation was. Seems Ford may have not needed to drop the SIBL, CMS and Remote Start System from the XLT Lux Package as they did.

I know that all Mav's have back up cameras but I guess my question is if the backup camera in the Mav (non sync edition) at least beeps in a more rapid succession as you get closer to an object?
No beeping from mine

I some information regarding when the discount package will be applied.

" Unfortunately, the order system is slightly behind, once the deal is running in the system it will automatically be applied to orders that have both option codes selected."

That would be scheduled and unscheduled orders.

Alright, alright, alright. Got this info sent it to my dealer. Changed to the ECB engine and added SIBL and cargo management. My priority went from 19 to 10 so there is hope.
Thank you for your hybrid sacrifice... let's get 25000 more to follow suit!

How did you get this done? My dealer is telling me it’s not possible to make any adds or changes after a production date was scheduled (I’m Jan 2 and desperately want to add the SIBL/Cargo deal). 🤨

Ford had allocations for 35% hybrid and took more than double that. A junior engineer can write software that would've prevented that.

Yes, FoMoCo simply over-promised on what it could build.

It's not even that so much... it's that Ford didn't even have the forethought to say,
"Hey, Maybe we are going to get a lot of Hybrid orders that we can't build."
Then they could planned for it with algorithm in their software to limit it.
You can't write the code to accommodate it, if there's no on thinking things through.

Just another FoMoCo fuck-up! add this, drop that...change this, change that..total bullshit. How many MTC members feel like they are on a yo-yo! As if a years' wait is bad enough.
