Spray In Bed Liner Capacity Now Available and Won't Delay Orders - Says Ford

I don't think that I'll add on the SIBL to my order. Because of the constraints I started doing my research and I found a couple things:

• I've seen a video of a shop removing a Ford factory SIBL and it wasn't well adhered to the bed and was thinner than what the Line-X shop doing the removal does. This gives me concern about the durability of Ford applied SIBL.
• As others mentioned, the 3rd party spray shops had better warrantees on their liner than Ford offers.
• Someone here (a while ago) posted pictures of an orange bed liner (matched to the orange accents inside the cab). I like that idea. Both aesthetically, and practically. Practically, I plan on also getting a tonneau cover so I fear that a black liner will make it very dark in the bed with the cover closed. A light colored liner will help "brighten up the room" in my bed. Aesthetically I like the bed matching the color of the "touch point" accents in the cab, since the bed is a touch point. ;-)

I've gotten quotes in the area for Line-X, Gator, and Bullet. At the point when I got the quotes, Line-X has the better prices for a colored SIBL in my area.

Based on what seems to be a relatively positive outlook for my Priority 02 canceled/transitioned 23MY order (currently estimated date for production is 01/06/23), I'm not regetting ordering the $495 factory applied SIBL.

Save $155 and one less "to do" after delivery.

And isn't there something to be said for having the SIBL applied in the controlled environment of Ford's factory? Any takers for dropping the paint completely so you can just take your primed vehicle to a body shop and have it painted there?

And if I decide to finance, I'm thinking it could also be advantageous to have the 24% less expensive factory-applied SIBL included within that one single monthly payment.

@groovesocket the SIBL in the Ford Accessories picture seems to cover the lip of the bed by the rear window where your SIBL does not cover that lip.

Does anyone know if the spray-in bedliner is still part of the Lariat Luxury package?
When I ordered my 2023 in September, it was still part of the lux package. But now the 2023 build odules have it as a separate option.

No. It is an add-on.

Mine’s scheduled, I don’t think I want to risk it. I’ll have it done once it arrive.

I pulled mine off my order last year and was able to get it done locally for less, and they even did color match(or darn close any way).
