????? I paid to add this feature on my XL because I did not want to have to worry about manually locking and unlocking it. What does the tailgate have to do with the window lock?

He obviously wants the tailgate to lock and un lock at the same time as the windows. Might be able to set it up with forscan?

If you REALLY want to do away with the power tailgate locking and unlocking feature just unscrew the panel on the inside of the tailgate, 8 screws maybe and unplug the plug going to the lock actuator. Otherwise it's not very clear what you're trying to accomplish here...maybe you can reword it? Windows????

Also, hopefully you know that you can unlock all doors to include the tailgate with your keyfob, all you need to do is press unlock twice on your keyfob. There might be a way to change that in settings or maybe with Forscan so that clicking unlock with the keyfob unlocks all doors and the tailgate.

I think he might want to see if he gets an error message on dash. "Warning tail gate will not lock, truck may enter limp mode"!

Yes, when you remote start it will lock everything.

So I did find out the doors unlock on the first push of the button and then you push it again and the tailgate unlocks.yes I meant door locks not window .was definitely my mistake but I just have no use for a locking tail gate
