I've gone through 3 brands of windshield wipers and I still haven't found ones that will fit the stupid narrow PTB wipers arms.

Bosch - won't fit
Rain x weather beater - don't fit
Reflex platinum - won't fit

I just ordered a pair of rain x silicon advantage from Amazon because I've exhausted all options at the local crappy tire and Walmart.

Anybody have any suggestions on replacing the shitty factory wipers?

Have you tried Motorcraft OEM replacements?
I got tired of trying 'high end' wipers and washer fluid so I tryed OEM wipers. They work well and my local dealer buys washer fluid that works great. The wipers don't streak or chatter.

None of the wipers ive tried were all that high-end. That might be the issue though. The most expensive ones were the Bosch when they were on sale for $16.

I'm very hesitant to put the same shitty wipers from the dealer back on.

There has to be an aftermarket replacement with an adapter that will actually fit.

I've been using rain X fluids for years on all my vehicle's
the wipers are a flaw in the design as they allow too much snow to accumulate under them
afraid you will scrape the hood digging it out

What, specifically, is/are the problems with the stock wipers? (It doesn’t rain much here)

I've been buying Rain-X washer fluid for years too! Just switch to the -30° Rain-X Because they're bug remover formula, freezes in the winter. My neighbor bought my 21 year old Ranger, he comes back over a week later saying. What did you put on the window water just sheet off in the rain it's amazing! I almost started rolling on the ground laughing, then I told him what it was. He couldn't believe it. There's so many people that don't know about Rain-X washer fluid. That need to know. I use Rain-X wiper blades. Hopefully they'll fix the problem with an adapter before I need new wipers.

like you I run the winter mix too, also twice a year do the actual window treatment, wipe it on let it dry wipe again let it dry then sprinkle with water and buff it it
on a side note 🗒 I just got a Pinnacle black diamond kit that has a window treatment, will see how that works but rain x will still go in my washer

I'm pretty sure the Michelin Endurance XT Advanced Silicone Wiper Blades fit. One side is 22" the other 21". Check Walmart/Costco, etc.

I just put these on yesterday. Don't really know yet how well they work, but this two-pack fit both sides.
