Factory oil color is orange?

Curious why you chose high mileage oil for a very low mileage vehicle. Maybe it doesn't hurt anything. But I've heard it will swell and recondition all the seals and stuff when they start to wear down.

Should be fine. That oil certified to API SP, dexos1 Gen3, and Ford's own WSS-M2C961-A1 test specs, that means about a dozen different seal materials (ACEA & API ones combined) were soaked in the oil and then measured to see if they shrunk or expanded too much.

Just having the WSS-M2C961-A1 spec alone means it's 'Warranty Legal'.

That is a really good question with a simple answer, I didn't notice it was high mileage till I got home. (64 years of age catching up with me). I live out in the country so I wasn't about to drive back to town.
Did a little checking and figured it wouldn't hurt nothing so I went ahead and used it.

High milage oils have an additive to refresh the seals around the engine.

No worries, just wondering if you had a reason to start new cars with high mileage oil.

Yea I was curious and did some searches afterwards and looks like it should be fine. I found both sides of thought on using in new cars, but thats to be expected online.

I spent too much time on Bob is the oil guy forums trying to figure brand of oil and type that this stuff catches my attention.
