Going off memory, after turning off the ignition (XL here, got the key), you can turn off the parking lamps by turning the light switch to off “O”. But as soon as you open the door, the parking lamps and the bed lamp turns on as a departure courtesy lights, and will turn Off after 15 or so...

The farther back from the rear wheels (the pivot point) the end of load will swing wide, outside the lane of travel. Load extenders support a long load but encourage longer loads that approach insane.

Exactly. Diagnol is the obvious solution. But when the load is not flat, diagonally is a tough fit. When you have multiple things going diagonally, to fit, it’s just an indication that things could be better if….

This is a annoyance about the Maverick. The bed is 6” too short. On my way to the dump to rid some yard waste. A cheap ole garden tool fails to fit. Jeez Ford, if one of the target users is homeowners, garden tools should be a consideration.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes to see if it sort of “resets”? just a thought.
