Bottom line: you are wrong and unfortunately I think your dealer dropped the ball.

I received a VIN on 8/30 when my trunk was assigned to WEEK OF 11/7. You get a VIN at the same time your order is scheduled. My build week changed a handful of times before I received a build DAY last week. Regardless I have had my VIN for months.

If your dealer couldn't give you a VIN when you were supposedly "scheduled" that is a major red flag to me. Regardless it's all moot now. You aren't getting a 22 and you can't order a 23.

Well, not all the 4k are on the 4th. I wish! I'm the week of the 14th. But maybe my weekly chat with Ford tomorrow will reveal some good news for me!

My window sticker popped this morning, my scheduled build day is 11/4. My options, Alto Blue paint, FX4, and you guessed it, 4k Tow. Lots of 4s in this order...

Have you checked with ford chat recently? I was 11/04 build, but clearly that changed. There is obviously no rhyme or reason to anything Ford does (but we knew that already).

Yeah, I checked yesterday. Seem to be holding steady at 11/16, which isn't a bad thing. But I do refresh my order tracker a couple times a day, just hoping maybe I go "in production" early....

You are probably still scheduled for 11/4. "In production" without a date really just means "sent to plant." Once they actually start building it the date will populate. The widow sticker will be available soon. If you went to "in production" today you will probably be able to see the sticker sometime tomorrow. If it was yesterday, check later today. It seems to appear 24-36 hours after you change to "in production."
