EB/FX4- ASS- Stopped working a week or so before temps dropped into the 40s- No accessories/heat/Ac on still wont activate- Should I be concerned with the 12v battery ?

Had the same problem I checked my battery voltage and it was low ford replaced it with a better AGM battery under warranty.

What kind of voltage is considered low? 12.2 or there abouts?

They are some big-a$$ batteries ;) Just replaced one in my Caddy with start/stop. It was throwing warning lights and chimes it shouldn't have. Researched it and found it was a common issue usually caused by one of those batteries starting to go bad. Of course, GM would charge you $165 just to figure it out, and then another $300 for a new battery (not under warranty anymore) ;)

Same here. Constant "battery is charging" message on the dash. The battery is most likely going to shit.

I set up yet another appointment today at the dealer for this issue, along with the dash rattle, vibration in the steering wheel (might be my fault...), and vibration in the front doors when playing audio.

That would be my recommendation. I probably am not going to worry about it now and let them figure it out. Too bad my appointment is almost a month away...

Charge the battery. The stero modem crap drains the battery below a certain amount and the alternator isn't chargeing it enough they will tell you to just drive more. Basicly a load of bull shit form the dealer same exact problem. Alternator tests fine 14.7 volt battery tests fine has capacity... won't charge it up no matter how long you drive always drains down over and over agian. Its a Very frustrating truck

They handed me a piece of paper saying it's known that the battery is drained don't use third party apps only the ford one. I didn't even know they had a third party app.... blame an app is what they say... it's bull crap it's most likely software problem or hardware or both

Been in multiple times same.problem it won't get fixed they just charge it and send it down the road

Yes. There are growing hints a bad batch of 12v batteries are also in EcoBoost versions.
Out of curiosity, does anyone have an estimate on when the supposed bad batch was used?

Ok, now i wrote about this exact same issue few months back, I went to dealer a few weeks after getting the truck back in Nov 21, they told me it was normal and just needed go for spin on highway and I did for 30 minutes and start stop feature worked again but only for a while.
Also i have installed 12v and usb ports in box but whats the point? Tried to charge my airpods yesterday while working outside and no power back there unless truck is on (useless) it used to stay on like 45 min or an hour before but not anymore. And my Ass has not come on in like 8 or 10 days.
So sorry to say im glad to see you guys describing exact same problem , there is something wrong here. Every time I open my Ford App messages are waiting to tell me that system has been disabled due to low battery or whatever. Truck has been great otherwise but this is clearly a problem that affects many of our trucks. And with winter soon arriving the remote start feature will not work most of the time I guess, it wont even let me lock my doors remotely most of the time.

So i guess you take a 30 min ride on highway (waste fuel) so your Ass will function so you can save fuel and the environment???

Hi there! Could please send us a private message with your VIN and dealership information? I'd be happy to look into your vehicle concerns.

Mine has stopped working too and I thought it was due to the hardwired dash cam. I have it set to turn off when the voltage drops below 12.4v, but the auto start/stop feature still doesn't work after my 45 minute highway commute, so maybe something is up with the battery?
