Where are my SC home folks at ?

I just retired last year from northern Michigan and moved to SC. I am also looking forward to many of the safety features this truck will have that I haven't experienced before. I traded in my 2018 Ford F150 XLT for this Maverick, just didn't need that much truck anymore. (It was my first truck and I fully enjoyed it, but hard to park and liked gas more than I wanted it too

Before we sold everything & hit the road, we had a 2007 Ford F150 & a 1992 Toyota Pickup with the 22RE engine. We don't miss the F150 but do miss the Toyota & thinking we will like the Maverick as much or more than the Toyota.

If you haven't been to Lake Jocassee in Salem SC, in the upstate, it's a "must see". It probably doesn't compare though to some of your gorgeous lakes in your former state but it is a special place. We hope to see all the beautiful lakes in Michigan one day

My wife and I will check out the lake, thanks! We are near Lake Cunningham and Lake Robinson just north of Greer.
We both grew up near Saginaw, Michigan, which is in Saginaw County. It is the only county in the state of Michigan that does not have a 'natural' lake. But it has some of the best farmland in America! (That's paved over with asphalt in many area's) Saginaw Bay in Lake Huron has the best walleye fishing in the country!

Greer, SC. Ordered from D and D Motors Oct. 25th, 2021. Truck is awaiting to be hauled to dealership, is currently sitting near Columbia, SC. ETA is Oct. 30, 2022

So no call from your dealer yet? Our truck just arrived at the gateway railroad yard in Illinois, just outside of St Louis. If our train follows the same time frame as yours did, we should (maybe ) arrive in Columbia by the 27th. Hopefully, yours will show up at the dealership in the next day or two and if not, maybe ours will be on the same car hauler to the upstate. Who knows?

My guess is they are waiting to fill up a car carrier before mine moves???? Or maybe they are awaiting yours before they deliver them here???? Good Luck!

Thank you . Yesterday was the one year anniversary of when we first ordered. Originally ordered an XL Hybrid with a tow hitch & co-pilot 360 but dropped the co-pilot 360 back in February. It's been quite the rollercoaster ride...sat in a lot in Mexico waiting for some mystery part from 8/9 to 9/29 when it finally moved to "built"status & then awaited shipment from 9/29 to 10/17.

We, ourselves, won't be around since we are snowbirds/full time RVers who will be heading south as soon as our Maverick arrives in the upstate. Great idea though

So I just called the automated CSX phone line and our railcar is now in a "Hold" status in East St Louis. Any status with the word "hold" can't be a good thing

I called my dealer this morning, they say they are waiting for 41 cars to be delivered to them by car carrier. My sales rep said his Bronco sat for 2.5 weeks before a car carrier brought it to the dealership once it was unloaded from the train. The Good Lord is teaching me 'Patience'

Wow! 41 cars !!!

That is a good way to look at it and perhaps we need a lesson in patience as well. Based on all those delays, I seriously doubt we will get ours before we have to head south to FL on November 10th for a family commitment.

Keep the Faith! You have 17 more days till you have to leave, that's a lot of time. Remember: Patience! It took 18 days for my truck to leaving the plant to getting to SC, and yours is halfway there. It will happen!
