Down here we have Buckys, but a lesser known gem is Stripes gas stations. Inside Stripes is the "Laredo taco company" . Theres one on the loop on my way to work. I get breakfast tacos there with fresh made tortillas. BadA$$ fixins bar with fresh salsa, and pico de gallo. I usually do the bacon egg and cheese, but they have potato and egg, chorizo and egg, sausage and egg. You can add extra bacon, refried beans, and a whole host of other stuff to em. They have a killer Texas pecan flavored coffee too. They have lunch too, but I'm at work by then.

Can't say enough about how easy the process is with the team @Granger Ford - many people have posts relating how well they were treated, and the team that greeted me was no exception. The shuttle picked me up at the airport within 10 minutes of the plane landing and I was in, out, and on the road within 15 minutes of arrival at the dealership. Truck was washed up, tagged, ready to roll.
I didn't get to stop as much as I wanted, as my wife wasn't able to ride along due to work obligations. I had to knock out the bulk of my drive on Thursday so there wasn't as much sightseeing as I would have liked. Still a nice trip through farm country with perfect weather all the way through.
Marty looking good on a beautiful fall day in Iowa. Will definitely be getting some white letter A/T tires when these Continentals have done their time, but still love the base look of the steelies as much as I did when I ordered.

First stop? Gotta fuel up...I think I was the only person in this Culver's that didn't know everyone in there. No matter, the cheese curds did not disappoint.
The World's Largest Truck Stop was pretty entertaining. I would take Bucees over them personally, but I'm a little biased toward that beef jerky bar...
As a native Ohian, one of the things I miss most here in East Tennessee are wide open spaces and the big sky. Iowa and Illinois didn't disappoint.

Crossing the Mississippi outside Davenport, IA into Illinois.
It was dark as I worked my way East through Indiana and into Kentucky, so not a lot to see there. I ended up staying at a hotel south of Cincinnati so I could rest up and get to work on time this morning. Thursday started about 330am when I got up to go to the airport and ended about 1145pm. I had a 3 hour drive this morning through Kentucky down into TN.
Heading down I-75S around Oneida, TN.
At home in the driveway ready for a thorough wash and de-bugging.
Final stats per the computer. I like the look of those numbers! On the flat roads of Iowa and Illinois my first tank of gas went for what seemed like forever...coming into Kentucky and Tennessee the MPG took a little hit, but still excellent overall, even when you knock off that gallon or two's worth of optimistic MPG the computer shows you.
This wasn't the trip I planned to take, but it still turned out to be a great one. Could not have asked for better weather or more favorable traffic conditions. Will be posting a review of my XL this weekend and will link here when it's done if anyone is interested. Thanks for reading! Hope you all get to share your stories soon.

Do you have 4K tow, and CP360, or 4K by itself?
