Looks great! How much was the grill bar and to paint it? Also where did you buy it from?
Bought from dealer with FordPass points (nearly $400) plus about $100 to paint it

My dad got his Lariat this week

and today I got bored and ordered H&R sport springs and a Race Chip GTS
Mainly just curious how the springs will do vs the Scale coilovers (height wise)

Where did you find available HR springs? Or like tire rack shows back order? Your truck looks awesome with the scale coilovers already though

I don’t see the sense of having an FX4 if your going to lower it. Enlighten me.

I don’t see the sense of having an FX4 if your going to lower it. Enlighten me.
The main reason is the front bumper
That’s about the only difference from a regular AWD model
It also came with different wheels that will be going on my wife’s 23 Bronco Sport when it arrives
Curious why you think lowering an FX4 doesn’t make sense

Well, for one, FX4 is for off-roading, which would benefit from having more ground clearance.
fx4 was only $800 option which had better cooling (fan & radiator) also included the hitch/wiring, for xlt the larger display (worth it just for that in my opinion) and like he said the only way to tow hooks (and bumper cover) even with skid plates and different wheels... FWIW this is not a real off road vehicle in my opinion anyway. Everyone has their opinion of the ways to customize or what fits themselves, i have been "off-road" in many non 4 wheel drives vehicles too and i appreciate how other people have been customizing lifted as well as lowering (myself have done both) and appreciate the fuel economy (lifting & different tires, etc... hurt that too) and i myself am going to lower my fx4 since i like the look better and fuel economy since i out a lot of miles daily.

Yeah FX4 on the Maverick doesn’t make it more “offroadable” other than maybe the skid plates
Zero suspension changes over non FX4
My original plan was to use the tow hook openings for fog lights, which is still on the table but haven’t gotten around to messing with it

Dang I forgot to mock it up when I had the front end taken apart

And to add to this….
If I want to go off-road I can just drive our Jeep ( will end up going to my daughter in a year or so) or maybe the wife’s Bronco Sport (not here yet but will be lifted)
Sadly there aren’t any decent off road spots near me any ways
All the spots I knew of have now been developed
