I am one of the ones with a vin that got moved to 12/5 to rollover to 2023. My order is an xl with a moon roof. I would love if @fordvideoguy or @Ford Motor Company could answer if they’d keep my moonroof on my xl for the rollover. That is a feature that I really want to keep but from what I’ve heard they won’t give us the option to configure our orders it will be automatically done by ford.

Questions on conversion of XL options from MY2022 to MY2023:

(1) MY2022 Moonroof? since XL MY2023 no longer allows this option then - if deleted by conversion - is price adjusted downward accordingly?

(2) As part of the conversion -- Could I delete other current options [i.e. "CP360", "SIBL"]

(3) Will the dealer processing the conversion be required to produce a new, updated D.O.R.A?

(4) Will FoMoCo send a new - "order received" - acknowledgement e-mail to validate a successful order conversion?

NOTE: These questions are trying to help the FoMoCo "Maverick Team" identify and vizualize conversion issues from an ordering customer standpoint ... add your concerns as you see fit ... FoMoCo [and its dealers] seem to need all the help they can get in defining the conversion process in detail.

Nope, no Moonroofs on XL in 23. Check out this video for other changes. You get cruise control though.

According to the dealer memo here are some timelines on this subject:
Oct 16: Affected 22MY Maverick Hybrid orders moved to December 12th (and 5th and 19th) build week.
TBD: Affected 22MY Maverick Hybrid orders transferred to 23MY order bank and cancelled on the dealers' behalf.
Late October: Follow-up communication provided with additional actions/next steps.

So, basically in a holding pattern awaiting more info.

I'm curious how things will get ported over.

For instance, I've got the lariat lux package with copilot 360 I have on order now. To duplicate that it would require the lux package, spray in bedliner, remote start, bedrails, and both co-pilot packages.

Funny thing is I would rather drop the 360 with adaptive cruise, the bedrails, and the spray in liner. At the same time I'd try adding the black appearance package. Price wise I think that would be almost the same, but not sure if we can make changes yet.

If orders that got kicked do end up with a low priority number like you mentioned on the podcast it may not be worth potentially losing that even if I would prefer the Maverick set up slightly different than a direct copy of what I ordered back in 2021.

I'am hoping I can drop the Lux package. There is nothing left in it except the trailer hitch that I want and or need.

Okay this is crazy. My production day went from September to October. Then October 18th received Email stating Production moved to December 5th. Get call from dealer on October 19th stating Ford canceled my order and to hang tight about 2023 rollover info. Today I get an Email from Ford stating my Build date is December 19th. Confused but still hanging in there. I feel really bad for my sales person.
