Well, just got off the phone...looks like I will have to convert to a 2023... Orders for existing 2022 customers and new 2023 customers all start on 9/15/22...orders expected to close on 10/8/22! I spoke with my dealer yesterday in anticipation of my 2022 not being scheduled.
Since a 2022 order will have preference over a new 2023 order (confirmed by Ford Customer Service rep), what is the thought of the collective as to whether I should add the luxury package to my XLT Hybrid and the extent to which that might delay production of my 2022 converted to a 2023 order? Just as a point of information I did not include the lux pkg on my 2022 order with the hope it would get produced...now that it will not be produced as a 2022...maybe I will add it. Thanks

You'll have to see what's in the MY23 Lux package. It might not be that good a deal.
