My thoughts on these after watching the videos -

1. Magnaflow - best sound, no drone, pretty tame in terms of loudness
2. Burchurs - good sound (not quite a deep as the Magnaflow) doesn't seem to drone, louder than Magnaflow
3. MRT - single tip doesn't seem to have as deep sound as the above two, dual tip sounds pretty good but more drone than I like when the guy shows it on the freeway
4. Thermal - not quite as throaty as the ones above
5. MBRP - sounds similar to thermal

Afe also have an exhaust listed for the maverick but I can’t find a video of it

Magnaflow is shit...I promise you. It howls at WOT like a stuck pig. Embarrassing. I've spent thousands in upgrades for my truck...the Magnaflow exhaust is my only deep regret. Lol all have been warned. I'm now gathering parts to build my own full 3" Manderal bent custom valved exhaust. I joke not! I am a huge Magnaflow fan but what they put out for the Maverick is shit. Anyone with one knows what I'm talking about. Windows up or down, go WOT and tell me you still like the sound of it.

Thanks for putting this all in one thread.
Waiting to see how they sound with an upgraded downpipe, but IMO the exhaust note of the EB is meh and not worth magnifying.

lol, fat chance. Just wondering why since they have the same stock exhaust. But then again I know nothing about this so maybe they dont.

Just got the AFE side exit exhaust fitted, im sure they will come out with some official sound bites. If I find some time ill try and grab some clips of the sound.

Love the tone on it, has a deep tone I wasn't expecting. Hardly any drone at freeway speeds, no drone at lower speeds. The side exit looks pretty good as well. They should be in stock and ready to go.

Question - due to the placement and the fact it sticks out a little bit is there any risk that a passenger getting in the back might hit their ankle/shin on the hot exhaust? I have small kids and this thought crossed my mind.

I did stand directly Infront of it while it was running, and felt a little heat. Due to the length of the tubing after the muffler, I would imagine that it doesn't actually get that hot. They do have a rear exit option as well.

Any sounds clips?
I’m very interested in this exhaust, but hesitant to pull the trigger bc it’s exits on the passenger side and I have a toddler who likes to get in & out of the Mav himself.
