I've taken a liking to the look of them but I've never drove a mono side exhaust setup. Does it sound one sided when driving with windows up or down? Or does it just sound more balanced due to how I would naturally hear it more from the driver window?

Thank you for the feedback, i just didnt want it to sound mute on the left side is all
so when you say throatiness, is that more then a rear exhaust due to it being closer

It echos off the cars I drive past. It gets loud as I back into my garage. It is a bit loud, and I wish it was a little quieter, but I got what I paid for.

What system do y'all have for the side exhaust? I was thinking of a diy, flowmaster fx or magnaflow muffler (both straight thru with packing surrounding perforated tube) cutting the resonator screen off stock exhaust and adding between muffler & a dual black tip.

MRT is loud as heck -- way too loud in the interior. I can hardly stand it. It's not a good type of loud either.

His other post showed the trail(muffled). Screws to hold the hangar is lame but easy for diy without welder. A few little weld beads would remedy that. When I get my parts & motivation I will try to add vid of sound for the flowmaster fx

I have the one with muffler. All the online vids showed exterior results. Honestly, it sounds good on the outside. It's not raspy nor farty. I'm old (50s), but the interior noise is bad --even under normal acceleration. I've had numerous Magnaflows on V8s, and even an older 2.0 4-banger. This is the worst. The muffler sits right under the rear seat, and resonates throughout the cabin. I even have a lot of sound deadener, and a large sub box under the seat -- which should muffle some noise. I had to pay an additional $80 to have it welded. I don't think there's room to add a resonator, but I'm going to get a second opinion. I will either have to live with it, or may splurge for the Termal (full-length) with a future bonus check.

It might not bother me considering my current exhaust in my Miata
Picking an exhaust is the hardest thing so far planning this Lobo

I wish I could find it now, but there is a picture somewhere on the forums with dual tailpipes exiting the rear. Even though it's fed by a single pipe from the engine, there is just something about the look of dual tailpipes.

Your probably talking about the MRT one, not sure if that will fit a lobo sadly with same RDU as tremor
