Got it 10 Oct 2022!!! And on my B-Day!! The truck is super and more than we expected. Love the RR color and all the bells and whistles (but be prepared to spend some time setting up all those bells and whistles). Duval Ford was super too, honored our deal we set up during ordering 31 March 2021 with X-Pricing. We did added ceramic coating and window tinting before delivery for $1100. Had to remind them Ford promised the Ford FITS Accessory Kit, so picking it up next week at our Monthly Mustang Club meeting sponsored and hosted at Duval Ford.
So far, so good with the truck...learning how to drive the hybrid and not putting the "pedal to the metal" like I do my 2015 Mustang (50th Anniversary Package). The interior seems so much more roomy than my 2016 Nissan Frontier I sold last May. It also sits a bit lower, but I like that...easier to get into and out of for us older folk.
Can't be more please...worth the wait!!

Congratulations! Re: Rapid Red - it is a gorgeous RED, photos, for some reason, do not capture the depth and glory of that color! On the First Edition, I did not realize, until I got mine, that the side graphics have the "First Edition" imprint included too, thought it was only on the hood graphic. In hindsight, I wish I had ordered a Hybrid First Edition... Enjoy it neighbor and duck out of the way when the nasty FL Storms come your way... Here in Tampa, we survived...
Yes, I was surprised too that the side graphics had First Edition imprinted on them. Thought that was a nice touch! 😊 And only had light rain and wind up here in NE Florida. Than God.

Received my FE yesterday afternoon.
Great small town dealership in Okeechobee, FL (Gilbert Ford): honored July 2021 MSRP, plus a decent standard dealer fee. Extremely nice, professional and honest people.
The 15 month plus 1 day waiting time was worthwhile every minute. This Forum helped me killing waiting time and update my knowledge about this great small truck.

I wish you all the best with your First Edition Maverick. Enjoy it and keep it for a long time.
This is a great Forum.

Your Mustang + Maverick FE is the perfect Combo !!

In my case, yesterday I got my FE, and my wife enjoys her 2017 GT350 !!

Enjoy as much as you can.

We finally got ours last Saturday!! Took a total of 368 days but the wife is happy. I bought the Mache you can see in the garage months ago after getting tired of waiting.

Now it's time for a garage addition to put the Maverick in. Good thing we had 368 days to save up for that. 🤣 :D

Just finished with my Roof Rack System install and added the Yakima LongArm to carry my Hobie Outback. I will eventually add the Bed Rack / Tonneau cover combo when I find a solution that I like.

I finally completed the next phase of my Mav mods!

I originally wanted the Yakima Overhaul HD w/ HD crossbars combined with the BAK X4S. In the end I choose the "Elevate Rack System" b/c I felt it was the most workable solution with best price, availability and relatively easily modified. Bonus is the discount that RealTruck offers us.

I began the install this past weekend. To Start the BAK X4S & TS Rails installation is very straight forward and easy. The only modification needed was to trim the rubber seal against the back window. My modification may have been due to the Bedrug so do the full install to verify if trimming is needed.

The majority of my time spent was on the Elevate CS Racks. To be fair the rack install itself was very easy, my time was on modifications! As we all know the Mav is a small truck and IMHO this rack is made for the larger ones, but can be modified to work; at least for my needs. Bottom line, I wanted the Low / High settings to both be lowered. Additionally, I wanted multiple between settings to align with my Yakima Roof Racks for my kayak among other things.
Pic #1 Shows trimmed window seal
#2 Bedrug, BAK, TS rails
#3 CS Racks original low & high no crossbars
#4 Modified racks - 1-1/2" cut from both ends, re-drilled holes (don't use the original top holes).
#5 New High mount set points.
#6 New Low mount set points.
#7 Now it's aligned w/ the roof & doesn't block the brake lights.
#8 Aligned w/ Roof Racks.

I'm really pleased with the final results and the only thing that I would change is increase the end cuts from 1-1/2inches to 2 inches.

Since my Mav should be here within a week, ordered my coating etc to get it prepped. Carpro CQuartz UK 3.0, DLux, Eraser, IronX should be here today.

Yes, lockable / removable with a little better road spec vs clip on (220lbs. vs 165lbs.). These are the Yakima Skyline system w/ 60" JetStream Cross bars.
