I'm sure it has been asked but did anyone confirm impact (if any) on warranty?

Anytime you modify a car under warranty you lose the warranty on whatever is modified. When it come to things like tuning or engine internal mods the impact can be larger. But nothing else should be affected.

So how would these compare to the flatout suspension kits? This is just a spring but it’s a lot less dough, however theirs has a new shock with more travel.

Does a spring only lift mess up geometry or alignment?

Trying to figure out which lift to get and wanted to get a suspension lift but don’t know much about them.

I am interested in something like this. I absolutely hate the puck style lifts for both safety and performance. I wonder how decent they are on regular roads and if they center of the rear wheel base forward in the wheel well like the other kits I have seen.

I was concerned a lift might make the stock (or near stock) size tires and wheels look too small, but that looks sharp

I think if you want a nice lift kit on the cheap, is to get the spring kit from Eibach and wait for the Tremor shocks to come out as replacements. They are improved monotube shocks, the only difference than the Flatout type is they are not adjustable and designed for long a longer lifespan. They are good improvement over the stock FX4s. It would be a good combo kit for half the price of the cheapest Flatout kit.

Im getting a Tremor, and want to eventually, not immediately add a lift. The actual Tremor suspension change is a maximum 3/4" lift given the ground clearence change and tire sizes. I am considering looking at 1.5" front leveling spring and a 1.5" rear spring from a full height kit. A little mix and match can make a ride end up pretty nice and unique. Eibach could be a good option too. Maybe go 2" fro the front and call Superlift for a rear setup of spacers from em and only use part of it.

The only reason the rear would be more centered is because the rear lift is only 1". The arc it travels on swing the tire forward since it is mounted to a radius arm. You can cut and stretch the arm. I plan on doing that one day years from now if I ever see a pair for cheap, but its mostly for stengthening purposes. They are just a simple mild steel near flat plate. Easy to work with. I dont have a problem with the tire moving forward myself though since it literally has to. If it was centered, any time the suspension compresses it will go the other way and possible contact the body. The diference here is if you are lifting to offroad or lifting for style. If you just want style go for a centering kit, but for offroading you gotta plan ahead.

So we now have H&R and Eibach to choose from for spring lifts. More choices is good - aftermarket is growing!

I saw a few comments about gas mileage being affected by a leveled stance vs factory rake. I think the leveling is popular for some people due to aesthetic purposes. For a lot of those folks it's a smiles per gallon thing and the difference in gas money spent won't matter to them.

I actually prefer the raked stance, and feel it makes the truck look more aggressive. Then, there's the functionality aspect of the raked stance and one of its main purposes; to compensate for additional payload in the bed. I think its design probably has less to do with mpg and more to do with preventing that terrible sagged look that leveling gives a truck whenever it's actually being used as a truck.

I think Eibach is messing up by not offering some sort of kit that will satisfy both camps - the level camp and the factory rake camp.

I'm looking at filling my bed with a chase rack, KC lights, full-size spare, jerry cans, water, and all sorts of other gear to be prepared, and I'm checking out travel trailers as well -- so a leveled truck just won't work for me, personally. Plus, I don't like the look, so none of what I'm carrying matters anyway!

I think it all boils down to what these companies think they can sell the most of and what they believe people will actually buy!

It would but that is lost at the overall travel point of the suspension on a spacer lift aswell. However if you put these springs on a Tremor strut, the shock will be a little bit longer and get some of that back. Spring lift with Tremor shocks is gonna be where its at for people who offroad.
