Hi. Long story short, I've had to deal with a shitty salesman for awhile.

The guy out the wrong order in like twice and I have had to unfuck it by going in person a bunch.

They also did not call me as expected for their pre orders or whatever.

I verified (Have a text message to prove it) they would take X Plan before placing my Maverick order with them.

Well, the salesman quit/got fired. Went to verify order with new salesman and my order was wrong (none of my options included).

Asked about X Plan being marked down and got told they're not doing it for the Maverick (Again, I verified this over text with the first salesperson when considering what dealer to order from so this doesn't align with what I was told)

I'm SoL here, right? Even with a screenshot from a salespeople I still have to pound sand?

This is a huge problem with the factory order model - having to do it through the dealerships. No offense to dealerships, but personnel come and go, and there is no consistency. I had a deposit on a 2020 Chevy Bolt right before the battery recall, and eventually my salesman and the sales manager left, and the new people sold the car out from under me despite them having my money.

I have been fortunate that my Ford salesman is an OG sales guy. He's probably been there 20 years lol. Doesn't answer his emails or texts for days, but guess what, I'm still getting my truck for sticker with rate protection (no X plan though).

Contact your state’s attorney general’s office. They might be interested.

without a signed sales doc with xplan indicated, you are unfortunately SOL.
I'd shop around to a different dealer that will accept it,

Did you reach out to the sales manager. I would sure hope he would honor what the past sales person said. Even if they had to take a loss.

X-Plan (or AZ or D for that matter) is not selling at a loss for the dealer. The dealer sells at a price set by Ford and receives a commission to ensure they make money.

They just don't make as much as if they sold it at or above MSRP.

My salesman just said they spoke to the sales manager who let them know they are not doing X Plan pricing.

(Which is obviously counter to the screenshots of texts from the old salesman)

I don't think I can move my order.

I had placed it on the agreement specifically that I'd get X Plan Pricing + MSRP, but they've reneged on the X Plan pricing.

Talk directly to the sales manager and escalate from there. Be polite but firm - they would not have received the order (and thus allocation/salable unit) if they hadn't offered to accept X-Plan. No guarantees they'll come around.

I understand X plan. I was referring to them losing any kind of ADM or perceived delta between what Ford gives them for X-plan and they make selling at MSRP.

I’d avoid the middle man, go in and speak to sales manager directly. And show him.
It really sucks you got a bad dealer.

If the xplan acceptance is writing, then yes the dealer should be obligated to accept it. Speak directly to the sales manager, if that goes nowhere then your options are limited to ford corporate or small claims.
Sucks that they are doing this to you.
