I think for most people the offer was auto-populated in Vincent, if you had an unfulfilled MY22 order AND a valid COVP. No formal notification, you only find out by looking in Vincent (via dealer or Ford customer service).

I fear that not having the private offer may be an indication your dealer did not properly complete the COVP. Of course there may be other reasons or errors, but we’re not hearing many stories about getting it fixed if it was not auto-populated.

Hopefully others will weigh in if there are other experiences out there.

I got pushed away at dealer too. They said once I get a vin# the private offer will show up in the system...we will see. It is all odd.

I never got the offer. Called my dealer and he told me what it was. It was $2,750. Is that what y'all got?

Suggest calling or chatting with Ford customer service. They will tell you if the private offer is in your Vincent profile.

The dealer should be able to look it up too, but that would require them to actually lift a finger, so no certainty there.

All ready done it is escalated to regional because it's not in Vincent. Ford could not just roll them over and prioritize are orders. Now we need to take the dealers word for it. With no official word from Ford.
Yeah… pretty shabby customer service all round.
Let us know how it works out becasue there may be others in the same boat.

My dealer had to use another Maverick VIN as a workaround to allow it to show in the system. He produced a report with a certificate number that is specifically assigned to me. However, it is only good until January, which is the end of Ford's fiscal year. Once it expires in January, a new one will have to be generated for the next fiscal year.

I am in the same position as OP. I have been trying to figure this out since Sept 12th. Contacted chat (they know nothing and sent me to Marketing), called Ford Marketing twice (they could see my MY22 order but did not see a Private Offer in the system), and my dealer (who said that they definitely submitted by COVP but claimed that system is currently down so could not give me proof).

What I was told by Ford Marketing is that the Private Offer is tied to your name and physical address (plus phone number?). If the dealer mis-typed your physical address then it won't show up in the system. There are about a dozen posts here on MTC about Private Offers not showing up so this seems to be a fairly common issue.

Per Ford Marketing, there is a process to have "missing" Special Offers reviewed that came out in the Sept 12th dealer e-mail. Here is what the e-mail said:

"If you believe your customer should have been included in this private offer, and did not receive a certificate, please contact your Sales and Inventory Specialist. We will need the required customer information (Customer Name, Address, Order Number, ROVP verification) and we will
confirm eligibility and add the customer to the list."

Note that is says ROVP verification and not COVP verification. As has been debated on here over, and over, and over again, ROVP and COVP are not exactly the same thing even though they contain the same information (driver's license and signed buyer's order). I take that to mean that a COVP could have been successfully submitted but not a ROVP (or vice-versa).

Hoping someone can figure all of this out and share with the rest. At this point I am not pressing the issue since I am still afraid that my chances of actually ever getting a Hybrid XL are slim even after waiting for over a year since my original order.

Ford customer service told me that I had to contact the dealership.

I assume you’re saying the offer wasn’t in the system. That suggests there was something wrong with the original order that prevented the offer from automatically being generated. In which case you will have to go back to the dealer to find out why and try to get it fixed. The above post suggests there is an appeal process, but it depends on the dealer to initiate.

I’m in Canada, got rewarded for waiting 1 year for an XL hybrid with a 15% increase in price for the 23 rollover. Considering bailing out and never buying a Ford again.

I have not received a private offer from Ford for my 11/21 Mav XL Hybrid roll over order either. I've talked to Ford Customer Service and they can see my new 2023 order, but no offer tied to it. I'm hoping it will show up if and when I get a VIN# as some have speculated. The sales manager at the dealership has been assuring me the price will be the price on my original 2021 preview order(MSRP)which I have a copy of. I hope so because the MSRP on the 2023 is $2200 more. Not sure if my old or new order was entered as a COVP or ROVP. I don't have any real reason not to believe I will get price protection but I've been told a verbal contract is not worth the paper it's written on. Not feeling warm and fuzzy about this.
