Truck Totaled if wrecked worry

Have to wonder how many others worry if they have a wreck with their Maverick it will be "totaled" by insurance co. if cost to repair is high. I have an XL Hybrid that cost me just over $22k. Won't take much damage to get to over 50% value to repair. I can see the insurance Co. totaling the truck and being unable to replace it for what I'd get for it.

This is actually a good thing, current replacement value is probably more than you paid for it new.

I do not normally worry much. I have noted on the forum that it does not appear to take much for the Mav to be totaled. I went to church this evening and my wife called and just had to have something from Zaxby's. I left church at 6:30; should be sufficient time to get her food and get home (19 miles) before it gets dark. The deer in Georgia at this time of year really move just before/after dark. So, after 52 minutes at Zaxby's, I drove home in the dark. The Maverick lights are very good. However, perhaps because I became highly urinated waiting for the food, I was already blaming my wife if I hit a deer, my Maverick was totaled, and I could not order before MY24. So yes, I guess I do worry about it!! P.S. I did let my wife know that I was not a happy camper. After being married for 45 years, you can "sort of" get by with doing that......
