Hello everyone.

I'm just about ready to order an XL Maverick. I can live without cruise, but like everyone else I think it's pretty weird not to have it standard. I read through a bunch of the spec pages on here and did I read right?? It doesn't come with Mats for the floor?

Is there something else I'm missing too?

Also did anyone get a manual (book) or maintenance for this truck?

the 2 big things are Cruise Control and Power mirrors. Power tailgate. Wiper activated headlights. Key pad. Alarm system. Better interior. Rear center arm rest. And better exterior

I prefer the weathertech floormats over any of the manufacturers floor mats. They are in my subaru and honda. Plus the price is less. Also, weather tech is a very large sponsor of IMSA racing if anyone is a sportscar racing fan. I will give them some business to promote my favorite racing!

Absolutely. So I take it the xl doesn't come with them

You might have to wait awhile until Weathertech can design mats for the Maverick. From what I paid for Weathertech before, the Ford mats are less expensive. I also like the idea that Ford mats will probably have a Maverick logo molded in. I don't want to go through winter without a tonneau cover either, so I plan to go with Ford on that even though it IS more expensive, again because it will take time for the aftermarket to develop products.

Correct. You've got to accept that a vehicle doesn't have everything when the price is so low.

Forgive my ignorance but what does it mean with no liner? No carpet?

If there is no carpet what's there

The wait hasn't been long on new models and floor mats from Weathertech. My neighbor had his floor mats before is Bronco was delivered and it was a week delay for our new Outback model from it being on Subaru lots to floor mats from Weathertech. From your screen name and needing the bedcover you are in a little more urgency than me down here in the South.

entry level Ford trucks usually have a thick black rubber floor covering on the entire floor. My F-150 has that. Build & price configurater has an optional plastic tray style set of front mats + the same set with additional carpeted mats. It seems this could infer just the rubber floor is standard but I haven't seen that stated explicitly anywhere- so who knows for sure, lol.

on the manual thing, this truck is probably 6 months away from 1st actual deliveries. Owners manual usually comes with your new vehicle at time of delivery

If you take a look at the order guide, there is zero mention of carpet vs vinyl floor. Because of that I am 99% certain that the XL through Lariat trims have carpet. The options are for all weather floor mats that replace the carpet mats or an option to have both the all weather mats and the carpet mats.

Ford has been moving toward downloadable manuals and no printed manuals.

Looked at the B&P 360 interior and it is too dark to tell but when I scanned to the back seat it appears to be the Vinyl flooring that @Old Ranchero talked about and that would make sense for commercial, fleet and utilitarian use (easy cleaning)...
