So with all that’s going on Ford is now ONLY offering their Veteran Discount of $500.00 only to retirees, active duty and Veterans within 24 months of discharge. THANK YOU FOR FOR DISRESPECTING MY VIETNAM SERVICE IN 1970 and 1971 AND THE FIVE MONTHS I SPENT IN A NAVAL HOSPITAL IN CHARLESTON SC in 1972. Are you kidding me? I’ve purchased at least 9 or 10 brand new Fords since i got out in 1973. Thank you for adding to the stress that me and EVERY Veteran I know who is being triggered by world events at the moment. How DARE YOU declare us not worthy of your 500 dollars Veterans Offer. I promised my Wife this truck but this is the LAST Ford I will ever purchase, again! I was in ‘Viet Nam in ‘70 and ’71 also but don’t begrudge the current vets from getting a break for there “current“ service. Good on Ford.

I got the $500 Veteran Discount from Ford by using my ID.me account. I've been out of the Air Force since 2007 so I'm waaaaaaaay past that 24 month criteria. I printed out my coupon and took it to my dealership when I did my down payment and he said it will get used when we do the paperwork. Don't believe everything you read on the internet.

No I read that today at the Ford.com website. You should check it out. My dealer told me the same thing, I've purchased 5 Fords from them. But that's what the Ford website says.

I need to add that I got this information at the Ford.com website today (09/01/2021) I always received my discount on my previous purchases. This is the new Ford requirements. My dealer was assuming that the plan was the same because they told me that I would get it. But not according to Ford. I just wanted to clarify that so no one thought I was following some random guys posts. Thank you

No. But DAV member does. I did that. 300 to get 1k off. Still 200 more than the old Ford 500 discount.
