They're doing it wrong, and I posit that they're doing it wrong on purpose.

I think they're going to put you in as a brand new order with no special priority, then roll your old order for their own inventory.

You do NOT cancel the old order. You roll it. And your rolled order SHOULD be priority 10. NEW orders are being entered as 19's.

I just don't know if they are doing it on purpose or really have no idea how to do roll overs. I would hope it's the latter. Ford is no help with the way they handled this either.

I got an email last week with my VIN saying my truck is scheduled for production 9/26, but the Ford tracker still just shows “Order Confirmed”. This is my first time seeing the tracker, so I don’t know what to expect. Is this normal?

Call your dealer or use the ford chat or number that people have posted and ask for you Build DAY. Then about 10 days before your build day you will see the tracker move to Scheduled, no date an not filled in but an outer outline of blue on the 'In Production' dot. That is where I am. The chat gave me a build day of Sept 20th and then the dealer gave me Sept 22. Hope at the beginning of the week to see a date populated @fordmav

All this HUBBUB over the 23 and my October 21st MY22 order got picked up and I have a VIN.

No email from FORD yet, but my dealer said 4 hybrid orders got picked up this week.

Oct. confirmed date for both my XLTs, hybrid and an eco FX4. My FX4 window sticker revealed today and it's in production, but nothing on my hybrid! [ and exactly as ordered, never changed or dropped anything]

Never got an ETA but when looking at yours and hearing about others, it's a bit long, but the next thought is it will be there for Christmas. Concern about my ETA as need to apply the ceramic coating above 50 degrees and not let it freeze to cured.
