Dealership won’t let me order a Hybrid

Tried to make an appointment to order a 2023 Hybrid today but my dealership says Ford is only allowing them to take orders on ecoboost. Is this accurate or should I try another dealership? Haven’t seen anyone else mention having this issue.

Definitely not true. They may believe you are more likely to get an Ecoboost because of constraints. Find another dealer and order what you want.

However my Maverick hybrid is a 2022 order that is rolled over to a 2023. I already have confirmation from Ford.

This. Like Tim said, find a dealer that will work with you. If you can’t, call Long McArthur and they can order for it you and ship anywhere.

I’m changing mine to EcoBoost due to not knowing you can’t get a Lariat FWD only with the ICE, but as a hybrid order mine went through today.

They are probably ordering the Hybrid's for themselves to sell with $$$$ mark up. Since there will be more EB's built it will be easier for a customer to get one rather than waiting forever end not ending up getting anything.
