Awesome, and exactly what I needed to know. Thanks a bunch! The "low" kit is exactly what I need then.

I caught a Mav in a parking lot today and measured. It's six inches to the bottom of the mud flap, meaning the Scale "low" kit is only 1/2" lower than most lowering coils.

While I prefer to be as statically low as is reasonable I don't know if I can justify an additional $1000 for a 1/2".

I stated it’s 3ish inches from the bottom of the mud flap thing
5” from the lowest hard part

The stock truck's front mudflap measures 6" from the street to the bottom. Yours measures 3", which means the Scale kit lowers the front 3". Lowering coils are 2.5" so the Scale kit is only 1/2" lower than coils alone.

Does that make sense?

I dont think this match is correct. I have lowering springs on my truck and there is a TON more gap between the front fender to the top of the tire compared to Brian's (volknuts) truck. The Sces coils lower a good deal more than only a 1/2" difference between lowering springs...at least the H&R.

Perhaps your measurement was incorrect
Mine is much lower than @catinthebathtub ’s which has the H&R springs

I dont think this match is correct. I have lowering springs on my truck and there is a TON more gap between the front fender to the top of the tire compared to Brian's (volknuts) truck. The Sces coils lower a good deal more than only a 1/2" difference between lowering springs...at least the H&R.

In all the years I've been lowering vehicles I've never had one that actually matched what the manufacturer claimed.

OBS Chevy and GMC, for example. BellTech's 4/6 is really 3/5 but DJM's 4/6 is 5.5/8.

I LOVE how Brian's truck sits and want something really similar in ride height and (lack of) fender gap.

H&R Super Sports should drop the front 2.2", so if coilovers net 3" they would be closer to 3/4" lower at least. I'm with ya though, lotta dough to shave a relatively small amount. But even that small of an amount makes a big difference with our Mavericks. Gotta pay to play.

Another way to visibly kill off some wheel gap is taller tires. @Canyon Racer has a great look if you haven't checked his out already. 30" tire I believe. Fills the wheel wells very nicely considering he's using the Escape springs.

The Belltech 3/5 in my F150 ended up being more like a 4/7
I hope it’s not my suspensions telling me I’m fat (it’s mostly muscle)

Totally agree with you there! Lol.... none are 100%... but the Scales are nice for this application. Tic toc tic toc until I'm able to find time to install mine. Hopefully this week

Using my calibrated eyechrometer that LOOKS like a 3 1/2" and 5" drop.
