I have the DIBL that was included with the XLT Lux and purchased a TruXedo Pro X15 Tonneau to install myself. @Realtruck
Installation wasn't terrible, but even after adjusting the "self tensioning" part of the cover, it flutters around like mad at 70mph. You can hear the cover slapping the two round bar cross members as well as the front cross member bar of the tonneau cover. Having the tension nearly as high as it goes makes it better, but you can still clearly hear it inside the cab. Extremely annoying.
The troubleshooting guide says this is due normally to a cover that's too loose. I believe there is some weird interference between the front of the DIBL edge trim and where the cover attaches to the side rails along the bulkhead. The tensioning plungers push this cross member against the plastic edge trim of the DIBL. Not sure if this isn't allowing to to reach full tension or not. Anyone else have a similar issue?
The latch seems to be pressing up against the DIBL's edge trim. I can't tell if this is preventing it from becoming fully tensioned. I am also using the elevate rails.
