OEM tires suck. They are made to last about 10,000-15,000 miles IME.

Yeah they are the OEM tires if you get the FX4 Off-Road package. And they suck.

Have you had your Toe-In Alignment checked, just in case?

I took the truck to get everything checked. Was told it was just my driving habits.

Also wanted to add that this happened to both fronts.

Curious. Well, I was planning on getting Falken Wildpeaks sooner than later anyway. Guess it'll be more sooner than later, eh?

I was going to put Falkens on as well in Sept-Oct before the snow comes. Unfortunately I spent my tire savings on replacing those two fronts. I’ll probably have to wait until November now, hopefully they’ll still be in stock around then.

These boys are soft.
Fords diagnosis: excessive cornering
Shame since I live up a windy mountain road. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Are you sure about the reason you were given as excessive wear on the outer edge of a tire is because of one of these reasons:

Reasons Tires Wear on Outside Edge

Poorly Inflated Tires
Bad Wheel Alignment
Defective Ball Joints
Malfunctioning Suspension

On a brand new vehicle I suspect underinflated tires as the likely suspect.

They tried to pull the under inflated thing on me but I keep my tires at 35 cold just like it says on the door sticker.

Link I had didn't mention that so thanks for clearing that up.
They are the 225/65 R17 A/T optional tires referenced. The 235/65 R17 A/Ts are Falken Wildpeaks that are much better but it's a significant up charge.
