So my salesman called me last week and said he talked with the branch manager and that "no way, no how" would my Lariat be a MY22. But I just got an email, scheduled for Sept 12 and a VIN. 8 months and a day since I ordered. We'll see how many push-backs and shipping delays, but I might have a Nov. birthday present! Darn, bummer. I was hoping for a 23, but yeah, yippie! I'm actually getting a truck.

I'm in the same boat. Got my first official production email from Ford with VIN and a week of 9/12 production date. I'm getting a stripped down XL hybrid. and I can't decide if I'd rather end up on the 23 MY with a discount instead.

I'm also happy to be getting a vehicle as my current one is starting to limp a bit.

How did you like your Escape Hybrid?

It will be hard to give up the Escape Hybrid, getting about 29 mpg. My wife has a 2014 Escape as well. But missing my 99 Ranger that I sold too soon. I have a buyer for my Escape, so that part should be easy.

BTW, I never trusted the rebate would actually cover the price difference.

I ordered mid October and at this point I would just as soon convert to a '23. So. I'm in countdown mode here with all this rumor and talk of the September date for ordering/converting. This whole Maverick thing is gonna drive me crazy (crazier?). I'm afraid to tack on CP 360, who knows what that would do. Will I have another winter without heated seats?

I hope you all get 2023 builds, should be no wire harness, no drilling holes underneath, no airbag issues
