Do you mean because that will make the Tremor package more rare? Good luck with that. I expect this to be a popular option regardless. There is an enthusiasts segment that loves to take their stuff offroad. The biggest complaint about the Mav for that has been ground clearance and approach angles. So if that is your thing, it looks like they have you sorted. Then there are a bunch of posers that just want to drive around in an offroader for the cools.
LOL, count me in on your posers. Guilty as charged. (y) BUT, as for me the Tremor coming already with Falken Wildpeaks saves me almost a grand on my standard AWD. Then, I love those black wheels with the orange accent. On top of all that, the ability of the truck to go into 4x4 locker mode may just be a big benefit for me having to navigate a steep section of back road that is sometimes last to be plowed. I would literally spend the $2995.00 on those 3 things alone let alone all the other goodies which will make the Tremor the most desirable Maverick to own in 2023.

Those lucky enough to land one will see a Maverick that will continue to be worth more than what one paid for it for at least 3 years at 3-4 K miles driven a year for me.

They said they are willing to change my FX4K to a Tremor when the time comes
Granger said they would change orders for you? I have not contacted them yet. I am waiting to see what more info might come out before Sept 15.

More rare, or might get delivered sooner than my generic orders. Either way if they can get me one sooner I'd be happy. Collectable value doesn't mean a lot to me. Mine will get 25,000 miles a year, minimum.

I am interested in the lights, the blackout is sweet but I see these pictures of lariat with rear led & front upper - so since you can get xlt tremor do they have the plain/non-lariat xlt blackout version?
Blacked Out Appearance Package is listed as an option on the 2023 Mav spec sheet.

Pass. Would rather see an AWD hybrid for the rank and file buyer.
I dig the option and it will appeal to many however I think you are right an AWD Hybrid would knock it out of the park

This is what they told me when I asked if my order could be held to rollover and let others take the aug and sept allocations so I could get a Tremor.

"As for rolling orders over, you will have to resend us the build and price and then we will resubmit your order. All the orders for '22 will take priority over the new orders that come in. You will be subject to the new base price increase but you will still get the discount we offered. We will send out the paperwork that is needed when the time comes for rolling those orders over. We will be swamped with orders that day, so please be patient with us as it may take a little bit to get back to you, but we will be submitting the orders in the order we have them in now. Let me know if you have any questions."

I take it to mean yes they will change me to a Tremor, previously they stated that the $3000 off only works for ecoboost Mavs. So that is still true. Beyond that I am not quite sure if they will be holding it back from scheduling for me or not, I will try and get clarification on that. But I was always gonna be right in the middle of the rollover anyways.

I just priced up some changes to my FX4K w/235 ATs build. Over the cost of my build I am spending $1055(some of which is aftermarket trailer stuff) for better skid plates, a twin clutch diff, a 1" lift kit, and a better approach angle(that I need for my driveway). Plus additional orange paint and software.
Where are you sourcing those skid plates? I'm debating swapping to Fx4 for my replacement order but if the aftermarket has skid plates I'd be interested

No the extra skid plates come with the Tremor. Since they are specified I imagine they are improved beyond the FX4.

What I priced up was adding towing equipment aftermarket then taking away the cost of the 235s, FX4, and 4K the $2995 turns into something like $700 for the diff, better than FX4 skidplates, 1" full spring lift and special(better dampning) shocks, trail control, a better bumper. And of course orange paint. However that orange paint is taken from my XLT interior so its a wash. Basically if you already ordered the best offroad you could get for 2022, this package is atleast 50% off.

When you get down to it for this type of package the only towing I can think of that you'd be doing for off roading is like towing a generator or wood chipper to a job site out in the middle of nowhere or towing broken down SXS or UTVs. Either case you shouldn't need more than 2K capacity. If you are using it for play the most you'd probably tow is a tear drop style camper to sleep in when not out driving trails and such.
I wouldn't mind a higher tow capacity. A 4 seater side by side can be 800+ lbs. A good utility trailer can be 1000+ in a hearbeat. Not a lot left for passengers and gear at that point when you are towing to deer camp. Same thoughts for dune buggies, pulling a boat, etc. I'll take Tremor over 4k don't get me wrong, but it wouldn't hurt by feelings for both.

Oh I didn't read the release as "better skid plates" just as "skid plates are in the package" but I suppose neither would surprise me
