Well, all of these compliment the blueish-grey interior.

Looks like they went a bit more traditional/ conservative for year 2, I might stick with A51 given my order is 99% likely to be pushed.

I call ford customer service the other day, they said that i didn't have a VIN number yet , so most likely i'm going to get push to 2023 even though i didn't get the first emal.

I checked their 2022 colors and they do not show cactus grey but do show FIGHTER JET grey with paint codes 1JJA, 1JJAWHA, 7457, M7457, M7457A, NE. So someone with cactus grey verify their paint code with these codes.

I absolutely detest the sea of grey-silver-blue, it's one of the things I voraciously hate right now as I car-shop, and it's already so hard to find a vehicle with great MPG at my price point with cargo space that isn't limited to those boring shades.

My friend had some variety of Toyota SUV and whenever we drove somewhere and parked, the vehicle basically just became invisible. I was in constant fear of going up to someone else's car and trying to get in because it was SO hard to identify which was actually hers.

I read somewhere that wrong car actually happened and it even started and was driven off.

It is. My son's 2021 Escape PHEV got rolled over to 2022 and he had to change the color from Velocity Blue to Atlas Blue. A little darker, but still a good color, My Maverick is Velocity Blue, but Atlas Blue would have been fine.

Also it just occured to me that this is not the same fighter jet gray paint the military uses as it is radar absorbing and cost several k/gal.

The bronco page posted the link for the 2023 touch up color wheel. Changed the vehicle to Maverick and looks like we lost some colors… take it for what you will..

It's quite a lot darker in person. I'd be devastated if I hadn't been able to get Velocity Blue.

I looked at a few more pictures and that seems to be the case unfortunately. I'm not sure what I'll do, it would be extremely disappointing. I was 100% sold on VB.

This is so aggravating. Been waiting patiently to order a Velocity Blue Lariat since the springtime and now they cut it. This happened to me back in 2012 when I went to buy my Camaro as well. I forget the color name but 2011 they had the bright blue color then 2012 they didn’t and in 2013 they had the hot wheels edition with a similar blue color. WTH

I actually prefer Atlas Blue over VB and would love the change. They also have a Blue Jeans Blue on some F150s that I wouldn't mind either.
