Hello,

I found out that Fette Ford in Clifton, NJ never placed my ordered as @fordvideoguy suspected. If you ordered from this dealership email everyone at ford as its likely that your order was never CVOP and will never get picked up/scheduled by Ford. Fette Ford is the worst dealership, please stayed as far away as you possible can. I ordered on 10/29/22 and its very irritating that after all of these months of waiting and trying to get a hold of the dealership now am told that I have to start from zero. If you ordered from this dealership please message me.

@Ford Motor Company how are you helping with any of this situation?

I ordered an XLT Hybrid through Elder Ford of Tampa but they never completed the ROVP. They never reached out to tell me they screwed up. Instead I got calls just telling me that my vehicle wouldn't get built as a MY22. After pressing for more information about my order and asking about removing constraint items for my build it finally comes out that they only submitted my order to Ford but never completed the ROVP/COVP part before the hybrid order banks closed. It turns out that because of their incompetence there are 19 other people that ordered Hybrids through them that also did not get their ROVP submitted. I'm not sure how many EcoBoost orders they messed up on. I could have caught this mistake in time if only @Ford Motor Company made their system where their customer service representative could actually see the status of the ROVP. I can still call in to the customer service number and every time they will tell me "don't worry, you're order is in the system, it's just waiting to get pulled for production"... but there it sits, my order, along with who knows how many other orders, that show up in the system but will never get pulled because the dealer didn't submit the ROVP.

@Ford Motor Company Ford needs to stop penalizing the customer for dealer errors. Afterall the dealer is an agent of Ford and this is Fords order entry system and should be monitored for errors by Ford's Customer Service Group. No way to run a business.

That's the same thing that happened to me!!!! I was calling Ford on a weekly basis and I received the same information that my order was waittig for a VIN to get assigned. This is honestly ridiculous. My dealer wouldn't talk to me, but made it seem like I was waitting on Ford to pick up the order. This issue is on the dealer ends and Fords needs to figure out what to do. Very upset situation, a waste of time, and nobody seems to care. 😡

I test drove a Maverick at Fette Ford in Clifton back in October last year. I knew immediately that I wanted to order one of these trucks, so I sat down with the salesman. I was so turned off by their lack of professionalism in that office that I walked and ordered from somewhere else.

I listened to them talk to a different customer, I forget the details, and as soon as he left the whole office just bashed the guy, laughing, with complete disregard for the fact that there were other customers sitting there listening. It was bizarre.

The salesman I spoke with was friendly enough, no issues there, but he didn't seem to care at all whether I actually ordered a vehicle or not. I got the impression that he was bored.

It wasn't the worst possible experience, but if I'm about to give you 35k I expect, at a bare minimum, to have your attention and not hear you talking shit about the last guy to walk in.

Thank you for sharing! We google their reviews, seemed okay, but retrospectively I think they were all fake. I work long hours so I didn't had the chance to meet them until last Saturday. What really sucks is that you call Ford Customer service and they tell you it's fine. Why should the customer have to hand hold throgh the whole process.

I ended up ordering through Ed at Chapman in Philadelphia. Despite the fact that I still don't have my truck, I'm not too upset because he has been nothing but professional and has replied to every email I've sent. I've been hearing on the forums that they also don't play games with financing or dealer add-ons. So far it's been a pleasure working with them.
