I placed an order for an Ecoboost XL AWD last week. I emailed my sales rep asking for a DORA since I never received a confirmation email. Today he finally forwarded me the confirmation email but it was originally sent to his own email account. Shouldn't my personal email have been associated with the order? He obviously has it considering that's how we've been communicating and he had it written on the P&S agreement.

The only reason I could think that he got a email sent to his email address was that's the email address he put on the order. Ask him to update it, and call Ford to get them to add your email, not that will do anything. I never received one email from Ford even after confirming they had my email. Had to check the status every step of the way thru all the trackers.

I guess I'm mostly wondering about Ford pass points. I'd like to use them for a bed cover and want to make sure they're credited to my account, not his.

Good question, the ford pass points was a question I forgot to ask dealer about. I even bought a dash cam that cost $550 installed and still am showing zero points.

From what I understand you're supposed to receive 42,000 points with a vehicle purchase which equates to just over $200 to spend on accessories though a Ford parts department. I don't trust any dealers, they're all shady and this is my first Ford so I want to make sure I actually receive them. My brother had no idea about mypass points and recently purchased an expensive F150 and did not receive any points and his dealer is "looking into it".

Never mind just read it could take up to 30 days for points to show.
