I am in the same boat with y'all. Ordered 6/24/2021, finally built and arrived at the rail yard 25 miles away from the dealer on 6/18. Original delivery ETA 6/19 but got pushed out to 7/11.

Ford Corporate needs to let dealerships come and get their customers vehicles out of the staging area if only a short distance (0-200 miles) away given the fact that they are having a problem getting drivers to drive car carriers. Sitting there, baking in the sun, susceptible to a hail storm, etc.

No, actually they don't NEED to do that. They are not even owned by the dealer until delivered to their lot.

Two dealers here in SLC have an arrangement to drive them out of the railyard when transport rigs are delayed/etc- Dealer is less than 3 miles from the rail/industry lot locally- Mine was driven out but I think they did a quick loop of the city- Have 15 extra miles on the odometer- Oh well got mine quickly after arrival without being at the impound lot for weeks on end-

Oh, driving a bit further? In the late 1960's my job at a Ford dealership was to detail new cars arriving for lot or customer order status. When the 1968 GT and GTA 390 mustangs came in, if you think I took them "directly" to my detail area, oh, foolish people!!!

My Truck has been setting in the TAFT Yard in Orlando, FL for a week. I have driven past it twice. I believe the dealership is waiting for multiple vehicles for a "bulk" delivery!

Exactly what happened w our Mav sat for a week + in Taft & dealership received 2 carriers of vehicles in the same day.

Well my Maverick was Trainnapped Three weeks ago my Maverick was delivered by a Santa Fe train to a Memphis Tennessee railyard. At this time I was notified that I would get my Maverick between June 27th and July 3rd just in time four the fourth of July but still 3 weeks in the train yard Well yesterday I called my dealer to find out when I could pick up my truck he informed me that my Maverick had been set back to between the 23rd of July and the 30th July there are ladies on this form I can't repeat what I said but I told him he was wrong. Immediately called for customer care I went from customer care to marketing to some special Maverick hotline. they inform me That my Maverick had been picked up by a Canadian Train I never let her get another word out I exploded she kept on trying to say things to me I just totally lost it I asked her to call me back in 15 minutes she blurted out real fast it's not in Canada I said where is it? It's in Memphis again can't repeat what I said both times I put the phone on mute and said a couple nice words. Cut to the chase they moved it from one rail yard in Memphis to another rail yard in Memphis and I won't get my truck until the end of July I cannot express in words and thoughts that are going through my mind . ☈☡ 7 weeks in a railyard. UNREAL
