Called Dealer after email.... unable to edit order?

2022 Hybrid Maverick XLT Cactus Grey
So i have had an order in for an XLT Hybrid with 360 since 16OCT21.
I got the "maybe 22 maybe 23" build email like most, so i called the dealer.
They told me they cant make changes because its in the final audit/check?
Im not sure exactly what he said thinking on it now, but he did say they cant make changes and that means it getting ready to be built?
For the folk who went through the process is that true or should i push for more info?

I am assuming that you are unscheduled.....(because if you are, that is a different story).
This probably means that Ford has given it an 02 priority code. Dealers can't edit it if it is 02. 02 basically means that Ford is trying to prioritize it for scheduling, but the constraints still apply.

If this is true, the dealer can make changes. They have to change the priority code to 10-19, and then they can make changes and resubmit. I had to do that to my own order last fall to take off the tonneau cover. (It still took 11 months total for me to get it).

Your dealer should be able to ask their zone rep to get the priority changed back to 02.

I don't have any advice to what is best in your case. I would think that removing constrained items (and hopefully getting back to 02 priority) would be your best bet for scheduling a 22 Maverick.

They told me to want in one hand and shit in the outher and see which one gets full quicker
