This was awesome! Gonna be so much easier with Ford already running the wires.
Check out this video by Chris Fix
but when he stopped at the dealership he said it was a pain in the ass to drive LMAO
Those are XLT rims. The black rims are the FX4 rims.I thought the XLT wheels were supposed to be painted black? Those look pretty grey..
I was wondering that myself. that would have to be replaced if it was my delivery. Is this a vinyl wrap on that part of the door and those air bubbles? Just curious.

HAVE TO HAVE A SPARE. Just this past Monday I hit a pothole, Dallas’ finest, and front right blew out. Pulled over and from stopped to rolling again was 10 minutes. Not too shabby for a city slicker but not quite the speed The Old Man Parker would have done if not for his bad lug nut holder helper.I can say it isn’t great. I had to have it towed two or three times due to this. AAA came in handy. Mine doesn’t even have fix a flat. the hybrid battery ate up the spot where the spare would be.
I30 has got me once. Driving home from the airport at Midnight. Switched to my spare, flat. Got to a air pump. Spare was bad. Parked the car and said my final goodbyes, not a great area. To my surprise she was waiting for me the next morning after getting a new tire from Discount Tire.A full size spare is typically the same diameter, but may or may not be the same rim thickness and aspect ratio. Often times it is not even the same model tyre. This is yet another reason I suggest buying one off a wrecked truck. I really like (and yes it is a personal preference issue) having 5 identical tires mounted and with me and a spare tyre ready to be mounted at home. On more than one occasion I have hit something laying on I20 late at night and lost more than 1 tyre. Usually from what remains it seems to be 1inch angle iron which is very hard to see at 70mph and 3am
I just took a quick picture. Unsure, but definitely look in that spot on delivery. Remember these are pre production models, so there may be things here and there. Those are XLT rims. The black rims are the FX4 rims.
This is the definition of a humble brag. Hahahaha. Lucky man. But I’m not terrible either, 2 times needed in 11 years.i mean i do agree BUT, being honest, cant remember the last time I actually used a spare tire. Not in the 8 years I've owned my Canyon that I remember...
Preproduction builds often have little crap like that or substandard sound deadening etc.Is this a vinyl wrap on that part of the door and those air bubbles? Just curious.

You can see the difference in the configurator, and on all the vehicles we've seen thus far. If the stock XLT gets black rims, instead of the grey we have always seen shown on them, I'll eat my hat. I don't even own a hat, so I'd have to buy one, but that is how confident I am.I just took a quick picture. Unsure, but definitely look in that spot on delivery. Remember these are pre production models, so there may be things here and there.
yeah, if he was pushing it a bit or a lot on the highway, it’s very good 34.5 mpg, since Ford estimated it would be rated 33 mpg hwy. Thanks for the report! If it's mostly highway miles that mpg ain't bad at all!
He was driving it hard SHE said. Take a look at the bottom photo. He was driving it hard he said.
