For me, the big draw of the Toyota is it is respected off road and it will last a very long time with basic maintenance. I won't be off-roading with the Maverick, so that is a non-issue. The longevity is an issue, but comparing prices, I can live with the Maverick not lasting to 200k miles.
Fumoto makes these awesome oil drain plug replacements. They have a valve which you can open/close for oil changes that also mate with tubing to direct your outgoing oil anywhere you want it. I have one on my wife's Nissan Rogue and one on my Impreza. I emailed Fumoto in anticipation of getting...
I am so confused by the prices/offers. I just checked KBB value:
Looking good for my Impreza. Then I go to Carvana and Vroom for these sad little offers:
Update: I think I know why... When the title was transferred to me two years ago, AAA made an error on the mileage. It required a DMV...
How you feel about it is on you. This guy is taking the time to share some information that's not widely available yet. The way I feel is thankful for him sharing. Why would you try and guilt the guy for that is beyond me.
I'm happy to hear the adaptive CC works well. I've been holding out for a Lariat vs. the XLT based mainly on this option and was hoping it worked better than others I've tried.
For those of us trading in vehicles, I think the trade-in values could shift but I have not read anywhere that the chip shortage (and other shortages) are in remission yet. So I think it's still a strong time to have a trade-in/vehicle to sell.
I hear ya. I have had my eye on the 2022 Frontier long before I knew of the Maverick. The MPG and value brought me here and I placed an order on July 6th. Updates would be nice at this point.
Another adaptive cruise control fan here. Subaru's Eyesight version is the best I have used so far. It brakes smoother and accelerates smoother than Nissan's version.
Another Lariat hybrid order placed here in early July. Dealer has only said "late Fall". I can wait, but I don't want to. The longer it takes, the more I like the 2022 Frontier. The new Frontier was previously at the top of my wish list until I saw 40mpg from Ford's Maverick and that changed my...
I skipped the carpet mats. I only use the all weather rubber ones in any car/truck I've owned for years. Also, I think copilot 360 is an inexpensive add-on if I remember correctly. Might as well add it. I don't put covers on my truck beds b/c I use them too frequently to be bothered. It all...
