Happy with the trim and packages...wish i had gotten sunroof and/or rear window.

XLT w/luxury and 360
I've seen a few Mavericks for sale by dealers, vehicles the buyer backed out. None had the sunroof and rear window, two of the "musts" on my rig. And now I have a production date, for what that's worth, but it will have the moonroof and rear window. 😊

Rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Went Lariat - fully loaded with tri-fold tonneau. Only thing I don't have is mudflaps and some of the janky tool boxes and other bed accessories

I removed the moonroof because I've had them and rarely used it. I thought it would expedite my order along with removing the bed extender but no luck. So I just added them back on and maxed out my Lariat. I figure if I'm waiting this long, might as well get everything in it!

I have a shadow black hybrid lariat. Only options are sunroof and bed extender. It was a rare dealer allocation back in Jan. ideally I wanted a hybrid lariat with Lux and 360. mine will go to my daughter once I get a 2023…black sucks keeping clean!

XL here, single option for cc and rm would have been nice. Ford's loss.

For those who took delivery and have owned the truck for quite a while, and regrets on the trims, options, and packages you chose?
Got mine in Dec, 5,388 Miles, wish I didn't get the sliding window on the XLT. Just don't use it.
Fx4/ 4k/copilot 360/carbonized grey, all others I love. And no dealer markup!!!

I regret not ordering a sunroof. I didn’t expect to miss it as much as I do

I got a base XL with the hard drop in bedliner as the only option whatsoever.

No regrets. I mean the bedliner is kind of a pain in the ass if you want to add in storage cubbies and do other bed mods as you must cut through the plastic to do anything. But at least I didn't get the spray in bed liner and have to deal with the recall. Also, aftermarket spray in bedliners are ridiculously expensive so I don't feel too bad about the drop in bedliner. Line X has quoted people $550-1200 for the Maverick.

So unless you're hauling rocks around and other stuff that can dent up a bed pretty bad, go with the Ford OEM spray in bedliner for light duty/general use. They better know how to drill drain holes properly for the 2023 model years and beyond.

The only regret I can think of would be for Hybrid owners in cold/snowy climates, YOU NEED SEAT HEATERS. The heater performance isn't that good due to the ICE not always being on and coming up to the operating temperature of a normal car and thus, the heater wont blow warm. Seat warmers will keep you decently warm without running the heater. Luckily, I live in Southern California and don't have to worry about that and the AC runs SUPER chilly.

I would have saved the money on the ā€œfull sized spareā€ option. Otherwise it’s been good. I wish I could open the sliding window from the front seat though…
That's why I took the sliding back window off my build. I'm thinking, hell I can't open or close the thing while in the truck.

I ordered everything I wanted in seeing how inexpensive it was compared to other vehicles. Only things I didn’t get was 4K and moon roof. Don’t tow anything that heavy, and never used the moon roof in my last 2 vehicles.

I wanted the full size spare it was configured with out it.

I like the cross traffic the eye thingy adds. The moonroof I would've left off still has head room at 6ft3. I like the keypad entry I bought the wireless keypad entry and put it on the passanger door. Like the heated steering wheel didn't think I would care nice to have. Wish it had adaptive cruise control because it always speeds on hills rolls faster with cruise control only slows down with adaptive. I like the hill desent works well. Wish it had a locker or 4 low. Wish it was an inch higher. That's it

Yeah, for sure get them.

Honestly, though, aside from regretting not getting a couple more options, I'm super happy. Just went over 1500 miles in one month and still thrilled.

No regrets about package purchases, a bit disappointed in the packages however. The perimeter security leaves a bit to be desired and the standard radio package is missing a few things I got in my Focus with the standard radio in 2014 so either technology is regressed, as if, or some head honcho at Ford thought it would be a good idea to cheap out on standard features. In my opinion that is a wrong headed idea.

See that's what I feel too! People are quick to justify it's a 20k truck so it's excusable to lack standard features that you would otherwise be found in last decade cars! I mean key in ignition and no cruise control and manual mirrors on the base? It's like back in the 90s.

I don't think they needed to offer an entry level truck at sub 20k. Even at starting price of 25k with those standard features, this would have been stellar regardless.

I’m getting an XL with a hitch at some point so I haven’t actually experienced the package yet but the two other trim levels just had a whole lot of things I didn’t care about.
My one problem is this will be the first daily my family has purchased in the last 17 years where I will actually have to take my keys out of my pocket for anything. I’ve gotten spoiled I guess but it was the one thing the XL doesn’t have that I’ll miss.
