The fan speed on my Maverick won't go below speed one. Is this normal ?
Thanks

There is a power button on the temp gauge, just press the bottom below the numeric read out.

Yeah, I wish "Off" was on the fan speed knob like every other car I've driven.

You can also leave the power on but turn off the button between the circulator and the defroster (the one with an arrow pointing at the person's head) and no air will flow through the vents.

yes the maverick has some differences to other vehicles, as i've never had a dial shift knob or double click hood latch either just to name a few.

Now I have to look. Lariat Lux controls are different.
Y'all XL and XLT owners just got what's called "Scoreboarded" right there.

SkeeterB and I are Lariat family.

Also, the 3-speed selectable auto climate control, which I have never seen before. It is awesome. And this comes standard on all trims.

Not sure why people don't like automatic things...

Pretty sure the only difference is Lariat has dual climate for driver/passenger which I have never found to be that great of a feature in any vehicle.

You know I was joking and my wife who likes it 78 and I who like it 62 will kindly enjoy that feature. :)

Aaarrrggghhh!!! Am not fond of automatic things that appear to work differently depending on "the phase of the moon". Am considering at this time if it's worth the trouble to figure out the fan speed on the dual temperature settings. It's great that the wife likes temp setting warmer than I do but I haven't been able to adjust my fan speed faster than hers! AND NOW it appears that controls are different in different trims. Thank the knob god that the wife's lariat is red and if I ever get a build date on my XLT LUX it is Cactus Gray, allowing me to orient myself by looking at the hood. Current "learn" is yesterday wife parked halfway between gate and mail box placed knob in neutral and did the "L" button as supposedly that is how driver can exit while leaving mav in ready mode. Worked great she got out and opened gate and I got out and fetched the mail. I returned to passenger seat before she got back and when I sat down the mav started rolling forward whether the brake released or it went into creeping mode I do not know, maybe the young whipper snapper computer programmer did not check check which seat sensor was triggered?
