Santa Cruz will be very popular and will sell alot riding on the popularity of something new and fresh.
With that said, the Maverick will also sell like hotcakes and will also have the fleet volume sale.
The Florida/Texas line, if I may take liberties from the F/G Line country music folks, are 2nd and 3rd after California in pre-orders for Maverick. Even Californians East of the San Andreas Fault likely are a high percentage out west. The base market is just people who wanted a reasonable little workhorse and commuter all along.
But sure, us rednecks are gonna save the planet while we're at it.
Love to see his data.According to the Maverick trainer I spoke to on Aug 13, California and Florida are ordering more Hybrids while Texas is going for the 2.0 Ecoboost.
Love to see his data.
Only asking with respect to second hand information for credibility of the trainer' comment. We love trucks down here in part because they're useful for the hard unglamorous work of refining gasoline for consumption all over the country. We also have huge metropolitan areas, young educated people, many retirees, and care about our country and planet. No offense intended.WE all would love to see all their data wouldn't we. Data is on a need-to-know basis....why would we need to know? What other product data do you wish to know? Have you inquired about the amount of oatmeal going to California, Texas and Florida and which state prefers Instant over original?
WE know the gas prices in California are higher, and there is a large retirement community in Florida(both wealthy and fixed income), We also know that Texas loves trucks and has lower gas prices.
