High summary of issue:
1) Ordered Maverick Lariat Hybrid at dealership, placed deposit MSRP of $32.405.00
2) Truck was delivered 12 months later to dealership.
3) When truck arrived, I was told (in writing) that MSRP was now $33,650. That would be passed on to me. As soon as dealership gets the $$ back from Ford (typically 90 days of sale), I would be reimbursed. This was their process.
Its now been 9 months. I have not received the difference from my dealership. Dealership has been avoiding me and will not give a clear answer if/when I would get the difference. When I called Ford Customer Service, they explained that this is a dealership issue to be handled directly with them.
My options at this point - 1) Try to negotiate settlement with dealer 2) File lawsuit against dealership 3) File lawsuit against Ford 4) Cry an moan about feeling ripped off and kiss my $$ goodbye.
Questions for all- What would you do? Has anyone had this experience also?
PS - I love my 2022 Maverick Lariat Hybrid at 17,000 miles.
