@enlowtrains if your issue is them not honoring the price protection, send them an email like this and see what they do. They honored my price protection after detailing everything out:

Nice job of keeping your records in order and sticking to your guns. They had no choice but to honor their word and Ford's word.

I've mentioned before but the only issue I've had with Chapman Horsham is that they "couldn't" honor my Farm Bureau discount as well as the Maverick Price protection even after they told me to sign up for it. $90 wasted. Also my truck was delivered to me with 22 miles on the clock (this is my first new vehicle purchase so I'm not sure if that's normal).

Matt Hille worked with me to get everything taken care of and he helped me hold the truck there for a few weeks while I was on vacation and also while I could secure a shipper.
My XL EB had 4 miles on it when delivered to my dealer, After my test drive I left the lot with 6 miles. I have heard some go thru a factory extended test drive to verify it is ready to ship.

Yea, full scumbag to me would be ADM on a retail. 4% under invoice even after any trim/accessory price increases will still get you a Maverick below MSRP, which is a victory these days. I understand the whole price protection argument from Ford, but at the end of the day -- it's a great deal. Especially if they truly had it noted that the 4% under invoice couldn't be combined with other offers the entire time.

I was able to get mine at invoice as I ordered it with no increases since it was price protected and I was still offered the rates at the time of my June order. The only caveat was that you pretty much had to trade-in your current vehicle in order to receive the dealer discount of invoice pricing. If you sold your vehicle to Carvana etc., then they would have stripped the invoice discount and sold it at MSRP. In the end, it all worked out for me to where I was getting the same value whether I traded or not and now I love my Maverick so far.

Good luck on finalizing the deal, you'll love the truck!

Wonder if this guy wears plaid suits
I would schedule a call with ford And Chapman
It doesn't seem clear in the email provided that they are not honoring price protection. The dealer says it will be at the original offer. Instead of taking it up with the dealer, he runs here and posts a vague email and no context.
the problem is that multiple people are getting vague replies from Chapman about price protection. If ford is passing

Based on the forums nothing has been consistent at Chapman around price protection and pricing. When you

Seems reasonable to rant on a forum about Chapman and plaid suits than to ask for clarification from Chapman.

seems like the big question here is that invoice pricing rises since order.. so while 4% under invoice is true, the invoice price went up

Document "fees" are just add dealer profit. This bullshit about being sorry for the doc fee increase and implying that there is nothing they can do about it is just that....bullshit. I wouldn't do business with any dealer that has a doc fee. Just like these assholes that charge for nitrogen in the tires...the goddamn vehicles come from the factory with nitrogen in the tires, for god's sake.
This bullshit of adding extra useless crap for added profit is going to culminate in Karma being very busy in the future.
All dealers charge Doc fees. In NY it is capped by law at 175. Florida has some of the highest doc fees in the country approaching 1K. The way I understand it unless capped by law they can charge whatever they want. But the have to charge every customer the same.

So I'm guessing mine was used as a test drive/errand running truck until I was able to take it. That would explain the crumbs and minor scratches inside/outside.
