Anyone else think the key FOB is way too big?

Just curious.

Super happy with my Lariat so far but it has the biggest honking key fob I've ever seen. I know Ford truck owners are often compensating for something (just look for the lift kits) but I don't need this oversized bulge in my pants. Folks think I'm happy to see them and not just happy to have a Maverick.

I'll always just lock them in the truck. The main reason I like Ford is the keypad. Too bad the key is required to start or the fob would never leave the center console.

Are you smaller than avg? If so, I fully agree, with it in your pocket it would probably cause a generous illusion.

Its the same FOB that came with the F250 we used at my previous employer. Guess its one size fits all for Fords.

I started a similar thread some months ago, with mixed results. Seems that comparing fobs and pocket sizes isn’t always without controversy.

Give it time and the China aftermarket will have smaller offerings. There are no shortage of Chinese aftermarket cases for Ford FOBs on eBay and Amazon. Maybe able to find an Escape FOB case that works in the meantime.

I was actually hoping to find a fob extender. I feel like if I can hold it with one hand then it’s not quite big enough.

Maybe a backpack version to complement the flexbed
