Other than a guy at the gas pump the first day I got it asking if that was "the new Ranger replacement", I have not noted any stares, pointing, or attention otherwise. Kinda blends in I suppose.

Either you get used to it or get rid of the truck. I get approached at least once a day with questions. The other day when I left a fireworks store in Pahrump, NV, I looked at my rear view mirror and 5 or so employees were watching me driving away

You will soon have phantom fame, too. I drove down to Portland today. I had to take my wife's minivan because of the number of people I needed to transport would not fit in my Maverick.

At one point crossing the Columbia River on the I-205, this guy in a Civic kept looking over at me. I was getting all kinds of proud of him checking out my Maverick. And then, I realized, I was in a Kia minivan.

Maybe I'm hypersensitive to it but I've noticed quite a few drivers looking and pointing. I just have to come to terms with it. It's not in my nature to want that kind of attention.

By the way, I totally blame Ford & the pandemic for this 1st world-problem. If they were able to get trucks to everyone who ordered them in a timely manner then I wouldn't feel like a C-rate celebrity on the road. There's clearly a huge interest in the Maverick. Get them into the hands of the people who want them!

I've been stopped 3 times by people asking how I like the maverick and I've only had it for a little over a week. I think there's lots of interest out there for this thing. I also see a lot of them driving around in my area though, I'd say I see at least one other person in a Maverick almost every day around here but I am in Ford country.

I'm not that far from you, but we have very few of them in Northeast Ohio. I drive a fair amount and haven't seen any in weeks.
