Is that the max the dealer would let you put on the card? I have a 15k down-payment, and the more I can run on the card the better (it's a Capitol One w/ cashback).

Yes the $3000 was the max allowed by my dealer. The max varies from dealer to dealer and some dealers don't allow any at all.

Just the ford site, and they emailed me saying it was backordered and I can try to wait if I want. I waited but they ended up canceling. I just ordered again yesterday and it already shipped. Nice!

Correct me if I'm wrong, you have to finance THROUGH the dealer to get points AFTER a maverick purchase.
Hence I have zero points and been month and a half.
To be honest. I don't understand how people get these points, IF you have to go to a dealership in the first in place, in order to get points.

Nope I take my vehicles in for service! that way if there's any issues it's under warranty!
