I wouldn't bother. Just walk away from it, and buy what you want.

Don't give it back to the dealer they will ADM +10K-15K! Selling to a wholesaler like Carvana is not good either because you give them your equity for free. They are just going to flip it for few thousand more. Don't let people discourage you or make you feel guilty you deserve to make money after waiting so long. Sell PP on Autotrader and CraigsList its easy, people do that all the time. All valid things to consider. I can get a refund on the Sales tax when I purchase the Escape and pay the tax on it. Financing for a buyer on a used vehicle is something they will have to consider. I know I should be able to get more for it than I paid, just don't know what to expect. Based on other threads, Carvana may be my way to go. Will call Carvana once I get it. Thanks
I actually recommend escrow services rather than a bank check. Your bank can most likely also facilitate a wire transfer for you.Don't give it back to the dealer they will ADM +10K-15K! Oh and if a wholesaler says they will get you a check in 5 days just don't. Carvana is losing millions. Big companies go BK all the time - they will have your truck and all you have is an IOU.
Do the transaction with someone during business hours, walk into the bank together, show the check to the mgr (they can spot fakes) and deposit. Then you both drive to the local Auto Club where they will show you where to sign the title and make sure registration is changed on the spot.
And not doing any of this just because you may have to pay tax is like saying you will not buy a company's stock because you may have to pay tax on the sale one day.
Carvana will apraise your truck if you have the window sticker right now,it is so easy they will upload your info and pay off your loan and pick it up in two days you just sign the papper work when they pick it up and hand them both set of keys they load it up right there at your house and hand you a check for the difference it is very easy to do i just sold them a hot pepper red lariat that i took deleiver off good luckAll valid things to consider.
